From a young age, I felt there was more to life than what meets the eye. I remember looking up and wondering who lives up there, in the sky and in the stars.

Growing up in Brazil, I was surrounded by so many different beliefs: Evangelical, Catholic, Umbanda, Kardecism, Buddhism, and more. My grandmother, a community plant healer (benzedeira), inspired me to dig deep on this intersection of faith and healing, to see spirituality as a connection to both the divine and the Earth. While I don’t subscribe to any specific faith, I believe in a higher power of pure love and that we are expressions of that love in human form. My spirituality is free of dogma, it’s about remembering the divine spark within us, although we tend to forget that.

Just giving you some “context” of how I ended up here: as the first-gen college student in my family, and then later in life as an immigrant, I carried the weight of ambition and was very determined to create a life of financial freedom. When you experience lot of “lacking”, it really stings. From moving countless times growing up to stepping into a family leadership role at 23 after my parent’s divorce and my mom’s stroke, to starting “a new life” in the U.S. as a newlywed, it’s like I was going on these cycles of major big transitions, death and rebirth with no playbook, and always longing for something “grounding”.

In the US, I got the chance to build a life that I couldn’t have dreamed of when I was little. It’s wild to think about it, it always get me very emotional. By the time the pandemic arrived, I found myself successful in my corporate career, built a lovely community around me but still yearning for something deeper. It’s gotta be more to life than just this. As I used to operate in go-go-go mode, obviously it took burnout and restlessness to push me to slow down and listen to my intuition. This led me to an astrology reading that introduced me to the Akashic Records. And that, my friends, it’s where this chapter kicks off!

What started just as curiosity didn’t fade away, and opened the door to so much more. Through the Akashic Records, I reconnected with a part of myself that was “unknown”, igniting a creative spark and feeling that “much more”, in all loving synchronicities.

That curiosity led me to take a certification program to become a certified Akashic Records reader. And from that, I also went on learning Reiki Usui; the world of Herbalism and Herbal Rituals, Inner Child healing, mindfulness techniques, reclaiming the wisdom of my ancestors and reawakening my “closeted passions” that my soul was earning to explore here on Earth.

So yeah, I got to experience bunch of cool things, reconnected with painting and writing, shed so many layers and becoming more like the me I would love to be.

And as things just keep unfolding, it’s the year of 2024 when after being poked enough by the universe, I open my books to more people to get to know themselves through this work.
